TRUNK OR TREAT AT West Chazy Vol. Fire Department 10/31



Come be a part of this great community event! Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for young trick or treaters on Halloween. Also allows families who live outside of town to participate in a more centerlized trick or treat setting. It's a great way to advertise a business (hand out business cards, menus, flyers, etc. or candy with a logo on it).

Cars should arrive anytime from 4:00 to 5:00 to set up and decorate their cars and trunks at the fire station parking lot. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Please contact Danielle if you are interested in decorating your car

Creepy Creatures Haunted House 10/26

For one weekend only, the Nature Center will be taken over by the scariest creatures that call the Park home! There Will be exhibits and activities for all ages - check out some skulls, see some live creepy crawled, visit the "Table of Yuck", or try some edible insects! Visit during the day for mild creepiness or come after dark if you dare!

Mall-O-Ween 10/27


Champlain Centre will host its annual Mall-O-Ween event on Sunday, October 27th from 1:30PM to 4:30PM. The Centre will host safe indoor trick or treating, live entertainment, a costume contest and more!

This year, Trick or Treating will start at 1:30PM and ends at 3PM. Stores will be directed to not hand out any candy until 1:30PM. Participating stores will have signage indicating they will be giving out candy.

The children’s costume contest will start at 3PM in front of JCPenney. The age groups are 0-4, 5-8, and 9-12. On the day of Mall-O-Ween make sure to pick up your costume contest number when you are registering your child. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

We are proud to announce the Boy Scouts will be guest judges in the costume contest.

Halloween Town: A Community Block Party 10/31


Trunk or Treat has been one of Mosaic Church - Cadyville Wesleyan Church premier community events each year! This year they are taking it to the next level with Halloween Town (Trunk or Treat 2.0. Our church will be split into two parts. The first part will be a halloween block party, with carnival-style games, fair food, and prizes!

The other part will be transformed into our own child-friendly neighborhood. Families will go trick or treating through Halloween Town, collecting candy and having fun!

You and your family won't want to miss this!

The Wild Center's Haunted Forest 10/25 & 10/26


The Wild Center invites you to take a walk on the spooky side in our first ever Haunted Forest and Pumpkin Carving Contest.

Deep in the trails surrounding The Wild Center, ghostly lumberjacks and menacing creatures await… If you’re brave enough to enter after nightfall.

The haunted trail will take visitors down a winding path filled with creatures, lights, immersive sound and other surprises.

Family friendly indoor activities include crafts, animal encounters, face painting, food and drink!

Haunted Forest Cost:
Adults: $10
Youth: $5

Not recommended for children under 12

Want to show off your pumpkin carving skills? Enter our community-wide pumpkin carving contest!

Drop off your boo-tiful creations to The Wild Center on Thursday, October 24 from 8am to 5:30pm or Friday, October 25 from 8am to 12pm. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

Mark your calendars for the weekend-long, Bavarian-style celebration with authentic music, dancing, food, and beer—rated one of the 5 Must-Visit Oktoberfests in North America by SKI Magazine!

We're offering FREE 1-Day Admission + Gondola Ride for anyone with an Olympic Sites Passport, as well as FREE Admission + Gondola Rides on Sunday for all Whiteface and Mt. Van Hoevenberg 2019/20 Season Pass holders! Simply present your Olympic Sites Passport or Season Pass at the gate. If you don't have your Season Pass yet (either it's being mailed, or you're planning to pick up), just head to the ticket window for your free admission and gondola ticket.

Juniors ages 12 & under can also enjoy FREE admission both days of the festival. All festival attendees must have an admission ticket for entry, so we encourage families to order their free Junior Admission ticket(s) in advance online to avoid waiting at the ticket window. You may also choose to purchase a Gondola Ride Add-On for Juniors ages 7-12 online for $18 per person. Please note: Cloudsplitter Gondola Rides are FREE for ages 6 & under.
