The Saratoga Area Preschool Fair is taking place on Saturday, January 11th at the Saratoga Springs Public Library from 10am to 12pm and will include more than 20 area preschools. Information about the schools and programs will be available, as will school representatives to answer questions. Kids' Gratitude Workshop with Coral & Blue Paper Co. at Northshire Bookstore 1/4
On Saturday, January 4th from 1-2pm at Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs, Coral & Blue Paper Co. will present a special Thank You Note workshop for children! They'll bring a table full of their signature kid-friendly stationery and art supplies! Every child is invited to write or draw a Thank You note, Thinking of You note, or holiday card to someone special. Envelopes and plenty of help are included!
Leap Into Space at the Saratoga Springs Public Library 1/2
Children ages 6-9 will enjoy movement games such as Cross the Galaxy and Lost Planet at Leap Into Space at the Saratoga Springs Public Library on Thursday, January 2nd at 10am. They will also learn how to make a camera obscura, listen to electronic music, and make a take-home space collage. First Night at The Children's Museum at Saratoga 12/31
Come explore The Children’s Museum at Saratoga and celebrate the New Year as they take part in Saratoga's First Night. There will be crafts, live performances, and animal demonstrations! Noon Year's Eve Party at Northshire Bookstore 12/31
Bring your little ones to ring in the "noon year" at Northshire on Tuesday, December 31st at 11:30am!
For those whose bedtimes come well before midnight, we'll be celebrating with a special story time & dancing, followed by a countdown and apple juice toast at noon. Party clothes are encouraged but not required.

Santa at the Saratoga Winery 12/14
Ho-Ho-Ho! The Saratoga Santa will be at the Saratoga Winery for his annual Holiday visit on Saturday, December 14th from 11am-5pm!
Santa will be waiting to visit with children and their families in our newly built Wine Barn! The barn has more than doubled our indoor square footage, so we can all stay warm while waiting. Bring your camera to capture the special moment with Santa.
Kids can sip on hot cocoa and adults can enjoy a Holiday cocktail to keep them toasty in spirit. Enjoy a variety of Wood Fired Pizzas, appetizers, soups and a kids menu!
After your visit with Santa, head to the back yard to pick out one of Santa's perfect Christmas trees! Fresh cut & local.

Ornament Workshop at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park
There are still some openings for Saturday's workshop at Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park.
Begin this holiday season by joining them for this fun, nature craft!
On December 7th starting at 1:00 pm, they will make hanging ornaments that can be used for gifts, decoration, or for the holiday tree. Participants will use pine cones, tree cookies, and other natural elements to make adorable owls and snowmen to hang. This is a family-friendly event. Registration is required by December 6th. This event takes place at the Park & Preserve Office located at 80 Scout Road.

The Nutcracker by Salzburg Marionette Theatre
SPAC is presenting The Nutcracker by Salzburg Marionette Theatre at Saratoga Springs High School on Friday December 6th and Saturday December 7th. Hailing from Austria, the Salzburg Marionette Theatre is known for its famed artistic perfection, precision and meticulous costumes and stage design, delighting families worldwide since 1913. With humorous and imaginative staging and ballet scenes acted out in great detail, the Salzburg Marionettes will bring the story of Clara and The Nutcracker to the Saratoga Springs High School. This original production features live actors with their marionette “friends,” bringing the beloved holiday tale to sparkling life while set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved music. The 33rd Annual Victorian Streetwalk
Thursday night, December 5th, 2019 is the 33rd Annual Victorian Streetwalk brought to you by the Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association with Platinum Level Co-sponsors MVP Health Care, Mackey Auto Group, Saratoga Springs Special Assessment District, Saratoga CoWorks & drb Business Interiors. The event takes place in downtown Saratoga Springs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Broadway will close from 5:00 to 9:00 from the Route 50 arterial to the Spring Street intersection.
Remnants Quartet, of The Racing City Chorus, will serenade the crowd beginning at 5:45pm as the children await Santa and Mrs. Claus who will arrive on horse and carriage (Saratoga Casino Hotel) escorted in by Santa’s elves, student performers from the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs, and the Dance Factory of Saratoga.
The Honorable Mayor Meg Kelly will light the tree at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Avant Garde Alumni Drum Line and Color Guard kicking off the evening, starting at the City Center, playing all the way down Broadway.
Santa, Clara, elves and Rumple Dumple will visit with children throughout the evening in the beautiful Santa Cottage which will be in the center of Broadway. The opportunity for visits with Santa will begin on December 5th and continue throughout the month of December.
