Welcome to Camp TOGA! The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Summer Day Camp and Adventure Camp programs serve school-age children in 10 one-week sessions. Children may attend all 10 weeks of camp, one week, or any combination of weeks. (Adventure Camp replaces our Travel Camp program offered in previous years.) Our full-day camp program is open 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with the majority of the age appropriate activities taking place 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Why Camp Toga?
Peace of Mind: We provide families with a safe place for children to enjoy their summer. Campers are supervised by our well-trained staff at ratios of 1:10 at all times. YMCA’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility are instilled in all our campers.
Thoughtful programming that builds healthy minds, bodies, and spirits—daily.
Fun: Campers will enjoy group games, arts and crafts, sports activities, huddle time, STEAM activities, free play, and much more, including plenty of time in the great outdoors.
Educational and Engaging: All campers also get to experience weekly visiting workshops or field trips as well. Campers are grouped in units according to grade and age.
New in 2020! This year Camp TOGA and Adventure Camp will include the following:
Challenge by Choice Club: Sign in daily with our staff and then have your camper CHOOSE their afternoon club! Clubs will include all sorts of staff led activities from running, drama and draw, book clubs, sports clubs, and more!
Visits to Saratoga State Park: For grades 3 an up, campers will have the opportunity to walk to the park weekly and experience things like geo-caching, hiking, spring tours and more!
Fun New Themes and Field Trips: Each week will have a different theme. (A field trip list will be announced soon!)
Leaders Club: This year we are introducing the Leaders Club to our Adventure campers.
Our staff has trained the areas top junior players to maximize their potential, from basic beginner, JV and Varsity level, to top college recruits. Campers are offered 3 training levels, U10, Futures, and Challenger/Tour. Camps will be hosted at multiple outdoor sites and on our 8 beautiful indoor temperature-controlled courts which guarantees indoor backup in the incident of rain or extreme heat. Sign up options include: Weekly, Daily, half day, and 20 day (pick 20 days over the 8 weeks of offered camp) and daily transportation from the Albany area and early drop off nd extended day options are available for additional fees.
U10 Tennis Camp
Ages 5-10 years old- Using the newest in USTA training techniques we offer personalized instruction with the goal to get our juniors rallying and playing the game of tennis as quickly as possible. 5-8 year old beginners play a larger, lower compression Red Ball and a 36 foot court. 7-9 year old campers play an Orange Ball and a 60’ court, and advanced 8-10 year old campers use a green ball and a full court. Daily challenges and end of week tournaments.

Futures Tennis Camp
Ages 11-16 years old – Beginners and beginner intermediate can quickly learn the game using yellow balls and full court with a focus on fun and basic tennis skills to help them play and enjoy the game of tennis. Daily challenges and end of week tournaments.

Challenger/Tour Tennis Training Program
Advanced level juniors that play on varsity teams or USTA ranking. This training program is for our dedicated juniors looking to improve their tennis skills. Our camp offers a mix of training to build skills and full set match play with after match coaching and video analysis. Full 2 out of 3 sets of daily match play will challenge and encourage growth in physical stamina and mental strength. Daily mini tournament/challenges and end of week tournaments offer our juniors to best mix of playing and training to push them to the next level.
