Pair of Penguins Painting Event at Saratoga Paint and Sip Studio 12/27
Friends are the people who make you smile brighter, laugh louder and live better. This paint and sip event is all about that! On Thursday, December 27th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm head to Saratoga Paint & Sip Studio on 80 Henry Street in Saratoga Springs to paint this adorable pair of penguins. Cost: $35 per person.

The Puppet People present "A Christmas Carol" 12/28
On Friday, December 28th bring the kids to the Saratoga Springs Public Library for The Puppet People’s production of A Christmas Carol! A Charles Dickens holiday classic, this show features beautiful handcrafted marionettes, shadow puppets, gorgeous masks, lavish costumes, vivid sets, a professional soundtrack that includes many holiday favorites, and a giant 9-foot parade puppet. Join them for one of two performances at either 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. This program is for ages five and older. FREE tickets are currently available in the Children's Room at the Saratoga Springs Public Library.
STEAM Engineers at The Children’s Museum at Saratoga 12/28

On Friday, December 28th from 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM bring the kids to The Children's Museum at Saratoga (69 Caroline St, Saratoga Springs) for STEAM Engineers. This program is where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math connect in a fun and innovative way that has your child thinking both critically and creatively as they construct a masterpiece. Best suited for ages 3 and up.

On Monday, December 31st have a family New Years Eve party at Saratoga Strike Zone! First Night Saratoga 2019 - Let's Celebrate
First Night Saratoga is New York's largest New Year's event outside of NYC!
As one of the oldest and largest First Night celebrations in the country, First Night is the most affordable, accessible, family-friendly, safe and exciting way to spend New Year's Eve in the region.
On Monday, December 31st, join over 15,000 revelers as Saratoga Arts hosts dozens of regional and touring performing groups in thirty venues throughout Historic Downtown Saratoga Springs. Starting with the 5K roadrace at Skidmore College at 5:30pm, culminating with the fireworks in Congress Park at midnight, and packed full of live music, dance, comedy and magic in between, this event will be a highlight of your outgoing year.
Saratoga First Night - The Good Luck Voyage Around the World with The Children’s Museum at Saratoga
Ringing in the New Year is a tradition celebrated around the world. It is a time to reminisce on the past year’s triumphs and tribulations while looking towards the future with a newfound glimmer of hope. Whether it be watching the ball drop, counting down to midnight, or stealing a kiss from your loved ones, we all have our own traditions. Grab your passport and take flight throughout the Children’s Museum at Saratoga to see how different countries put their own spin on New Year’s traditions. Participants will explore traditions from the US, Japan, China, Romania, Spain, Nigeria and Ecuador on this world wide voyage. Children will also participate in a countdown to First Night Saratoga at 5:30 before parading to the kid-oriented activities at the Lake Avenue School. The Children's Museum at Saratoga will offer free admission to button holders beginning at 4pm.
