Summer Camp at Play Hollow

With experiments, music, language, and play using science as our guide, Andrew, certified teacher, and Natalia, Bilingual SLP, have designed a unique experience at Play Hollow where children will build their foundational skills while exploring nature, community, music/movement, and art.
There are 5 week sessions to pick from and you are welcome to sign up for more than 1! (Receive a $20 discount for each extra week you enroll in!) Classes run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 12 PM, children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old will participate in:
Picnic Snack Time: We will be providing healthy snacks and drinks where children will reflect and gather together sharing a small meal.
Whole-Child Focused Skill Building: With 30 years of combined childhood instruction experience in areas speech-language/cognitive development and science experimentation, Andrew and Natalia have designed nature-based lessons and activities that allow children to use their whole-body intelligence to develop the skillsets that will prepare them for the road ahead.
Bilingual Rhythm and Music Class: children will be exploring, creating, and dancing to the different linguistic, rhythmic, and musical patterns that shape our experience and enrich our community.
Nature Exploration and Outdoor Play: children will be visiting the local trails and parks in the village of Ballston Spa where they will have the opportunity to learn natural concepts and enjoy the summer weather (whatever it may be that day!)
Cost: $179 (cost includes snacks and all project materials)

About the Instructors:
Natalia Martinez is a bilingual (English-Spanish) speech-language pathologist with over 13 years experience working with children and their families by providing traditional therapy as well as leading social groups and homeschool courses. As a proud mama of 2 and owner of Play Hollow, Natalia is committed to helping kiddos and their families thrive in their community. Andrew Way is a NYS Certified teacher with a masters degree in meteorology.Andrew has over 16 years of experience working with children and their families providing instruction and science tutoring services. A Glens Falls native and Adirondacks 46er, Andrew is passionate about being outdoors. He is currently thriving taking his two little ones on local hikes, paddles, and adventures as well as playing his guitar singing Spanish and English tunes for pre-schoolers.
