Veterans Day Craft
The World Awareness Children's Museum will be hosting a family-friendly Veteran’s Day celebration by reading the poem “In Flanders Field” by John McCrae and making a traditional red poppy craft. The event runs 10:30am - 11:30am. $5 / FREE for Children Under 3 (Event is Included with Museum Admission). The World Awareness Children's Museum is located at 89 Warren St., Glens Falls.
Veterans Day Candle Making
Looking for something creative to do with the family on the day off from school? Join The Candle Collective for candle making! The cost depends on which candle you chose to make. The candle mold prices ranges from $10-$45. We participate in the Saratoga County Veteran’s F.A.V.O.R. program and offer 15% military discount all year round. Reservations are recommended. Kids' Event with Emily Arnold McCully at Northshire Bookstore
Join Northshire Bookstore on Monday, November 12th at 4:00 p.m. to learn about 21 women who changed the way we think. Caldecott Medalist Emily Arnold McCully will be reading from and discussing her book She Did It!

Veteran’s Day – The Children’s Museum at Saratoga is Open

This is a drop in program for children grades 1-5. Ready, set, PLAY! Focus on all things Potter just in time for the new Fantastic Beasts movie. Be part of an afternoon playing games with a Potter theme- UNO, Clue, TriWizard Maze, puzzles and more. Plus!- refreshments to keep your patronus strong. From 1-3pm. (*FAA)

Sensory Explorations at We Rock the Spectrum
Bring the kids to the gym to do some exploration with their senses. Each Monday we will be creating and/or exploring with our senses. Some examples of what we will be doing....making snow dough, making oobleck, using water beads, exploring sounds, exploring tastes and more! FYI...it may get messy once in a while :). SOAR on Vacation at Hudson Crossing Park
SOAR on Vacation takes place from 9am-3pm
Veteran’s Day Observed- November 12

These vacation day adventures, held at Hudson Crossing Park, are open to ages 7-12 and are your child’s chance to spend time exploring, experimenting, and having FUN! Kids will conduct science experiments, go hiking, complete nature art projects, hear stories about local history, and more!
Indoor space available, drop off and pick up on December days will be held at Hudson Crossing Park Riverside property. (5149 County Route 113, Greenwich NY)

Story and Play at Greenwich Free Library
Come play! Swap stories and meet other families. Children develop social skills, cooperative play, adaptive skills, progressive learning, and sensory play and parents get a chance to sit back, let them play and chat!
