The Strand and Adirondack Regional Theatre bring you a performance of Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir! This story comes to life in this stage adaptation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, which features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.
This project is made possible with the funds from the Decentralization Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts.

Head to the 4th of July Celebration in Saranac Lake!
The Kids Parade starts at 10am on Church Street and ends in Riverside Park. Jump in and walk or watch - either way it's a crowd pleaser!
Support the Adirondack Carousel's 4th of July Duck Race starting at 11am on the River Walk behind the Police Station. A reception will follow at the Carousel.
Enjoy live entertainment in Riverside Park from the Music on the Green series starting at 4pm and ending at 7pm. Liquids and Solids will be on site with delicious food along with a cotton candy and snow cone vendor. Grab your seat early and stick around after the show for the fireworks!
Topping off the day will be Saranac Lake's legendary 4th of July fireworks extravaganza. They'll begin around 9:15pm.

It’s summertime and we all know what that means! Rulf’s Orchard Strawberry Festival!!
Rulfs Orchard would like to invite you to their 8th Annual Strawberry Festival on June 29th, from 10am - 1pm
This event will be located down by the corn maze, as it was last year.
Rulfs will be selling bracelets for access to their different activities for the festival.
The bracelets will both cost $4 and will be different colors, depending on what they give you access to. They will be available ahead of time in our store (to avoid lines the day of the event!) and buying in advance comes with a FREE donut!

This bracelet is based on the number of quarts, not who is picking. So if you want to pick 3 quarts you'll need 3 bracelets.
*If you are a "serious" picker (more than 3 or 4 quarts) it might be best to skip the wagon ride and just drive down and pay by the lb!

Unlock the Parks! Find a key in one of the parks and bring it to the Planning Department at the Town of Plattsburgh Office Complex to find out if it unlocks a...BRAND NEW BIKE (Gender neutral bike for kids ages 7-12). A free pair of sunglasses will be given to all participants who bring in a found key while supplies last.
**The program begins on July 2nd and will ONLY happen during the month of July or until the bicycle is won.**
This FREE programs is open to all Town of Plattsburgh youth age 5 - 13.

Jeff Boyer (Jeff Boyer Productions) is a proven crowd pleasing performer engaging, amusing and educating audiences for over 21 years. He’s been excited about bubbles and physics since he was a kid. Studying acting at SUNY Watertown and the Boston Shakespeare Company brought his skills and calling into focus. Jeff moved into performing for family audiences in 1993. He’s enjoyed being part of ensemble casts and being a one man show including musical theatre, drama, comedy, science and magic performance. He started Jeff Boyer Productions in 1999 and has been wowing audiences internationally with bubbles, science, and comedy ever since.
Jeff began creating bubble shows in 2005. His experience with school groups led him to raise audience participation to a new level. The evolution of this unique inclusiveness and interactive art separates Bubble Trouble from other bubble shows, thrills audiences and builds lasting community among performing arts center’s patrons.
