It's a celebration of spring at the Saratoga Farmers' Market! On March 31, 9 am to 1 pm, enjoy workshops, family activities, and delicious local food that celebrates spring. This event and the workshops are free for all ages and open to the community with no registration required.
Workshop Schedule:
9-10 A.M., Beekeeping with Rick Green
10-11 A.M., Making the Most of Your CSA with Justine Denison of Denison Farm, featuring live cooking by Anouk Booneman
11-Noon, Seed Bomb Workshop with Lori Bishop, Cornell Cooperative ExtensionMaster Gardener
Noon-1 P.M., Succulents with Suzanne Balet of Balet Flowers & Design (presentation and take-home planting).

The Friends of the Market has the perfect spring activity planned... make an eggshell seed starter! Eggshells offer calcium and minerals to growing plants and can be transplanted right in the ground.
Our friends from the Children's Museum at Saratoga will have lots Legos with them on Saturday for children to make their own Lego planters! Activities are appropriate for children of all ages and abilities.
