
Join the folks at the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College on March 10 for Family Saturday: Music Along the Borders. Participants will spend time in Along the Border and talk about artist Guillermo Galindo's musical instrument series crafted from objects found along the Mexico-United States border. Galindo's instruments are constructed from cans, shoes, bicycle wheels and much more. Kids will make their own instruments from a variety of objects then play music together!
Family Saturdays foster multigenerational creative cooperation through looking at artwork, discussing it, and engaging in a hands-on art activity. Most programs run from 2:00 – 3:30 pm and include a tour of a specific exhibition. Click the button for more info:
