Children and their families are invited to the Creekside Classroom at Saratoga Spa State Park on Earth Day (Sunday, April 22nd from 11 AM - 12 PM) to help end plastic pollution. Plastic is threatening our planet’s survival and together we can change that. Join us for a reading of “One Plastic Bag” a story of how five Gambian women sparked a movement to save their village from the negative effects of plastic waste, followed by a craft showing how we can reuse our own plastic waste as well. This program is free and appropriate for ages 5-9. Registration is required. Please call 518-584-2000 ext. 111 to register. Please bring your plastic (shopping) bags with you for the craft.
