Where’s Waldo? In Downtown Saratoga Springs of course! The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs will be hiding in local businesses and community organizations throughout our downtown this July. Join in our fun scavenger hunt and win great prizes!
The first 125 participants to find at least ten of the Waldos hiding around town will win a button or sticker sheet and a coupon for $1 off any Where's Waldo Book. Find at least 15 Waldos to be entered in our grand prize drawing, which includes many great Waldo prizes.
Where’s Waldo is the creation of Martin Handford, whose entertaining drawings of crowd scenes swept the world in the late eighties. In celebration of Waldo’s longevity and popularity, his American publisher, Candlewick Press, is once again teaming up with the American Booksellers Association and 250 independent bookstores all across the country for some scavenger hunt fun as well as to encourage communities to patronize their local businesses.
The Where’s Waldo Scavenger Hunt will take place between Sunday, July 1, 2018 - 10:00am to Tuesday, July 31, 2018 - 9:00pm. The participating businesses for 2018 are:
