Preschool Nature Program at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park 1/14

Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park’s monthly Preschool Nature Hour is scheduled for Monday, January 14 at 10:30 am. This program will begin by going for a brief nature walk with a nature craft to follow. A nutritious snack is also part of the program.  

If snow remains on the trails the program will revolve around the basics of animal tracking, as scheduled.  If there is no snow the program have a discussion and craft relating to the strategies plants use in order to disperse their seeds. 

Adults are expected to attend with their child. This is an outdoor program so please come dressed for the weather. Registration is required. 

Taking place on a Monday every month at 10:30 am, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park holds a Preschool Nature Hour at Camp Saratoga.   This monthly program is for children ages 3-6 years old.  Children’s love of nature is used to teach simple concepts like counting, colors, textures, and opposites.
