Join our friends from the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame as they host a fun and interactive summer education series all about horses! This program is held at The Children’s Museum at Saratoga (69 Caroline St Saratoga Springs) on Monday, August 5th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
August 5 – Discover the life cycle of horses and the bond between mom and baby while viewing video footage of Foal Patrol, the National Racing Museum’s live streaming mare and foal program.
August 12 – Ever wonder what allows a horse to run so fast? Explore and learn about the anatomy of Thoroughbred racehorses. Build a horse skeleton with some creative art supplies.
August 19 – We enjoy the company of animals and so do Thoroughbred horses! Learn about some silly animal friendships and the importance of companion animals including cats, dogs, pigs, goats and even chickens with some fun activities.
