Maple Weekend is coming! For two weekends (March 21-22 & 28-29, 2020) visitors can visit local farms for pancake breakfasts, sugar house tours, activities and more!
Visitors to Maple Weekend can:

EXPERIENCE the unique family traditions of making maple syrup in New York State.
CELEBRATE New York’s first agricultural harvest of the season in a family-friendly environment.
MEET the producers who annually make New York the second largest maple producing state in the U.S.
SHARE in the many ways to cook and bake with maple syrup, maple sap and other maple drinks and products.
WITNESS sustainable agriculture at its best.
Last year in Mini City Magazine we profiled a local family run farm, Schneible Maple, which is located in Argyle. This year Schneible Maple will be open for both weekends and will serve breakfast from 9am to 1 pm. The bakeshop will be stocked with delicious maple baked goods and tours of their Maple Operation will run till 4pm. Sample warm syrup fresh off the evaporator, fresh maple cream and maple candy. They’ll also have activities planned for the little ones!
