Project Cameron's Story Bookraiser Party at Northshire Bookstore 2/18

Enjoy craft projects, face painting, and a visit with Elmo on Monday, February 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at Northshire Bookstore at the Project Cameron's Story Bookraiser Party.  Presented by Project Cameron's Story, join the party to celebrate their goal of giving books to every parent of a premature baby upon admission to the NICU's at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter's Hospital Bellevue Women’s Center, Stony Brook University Hospital, Golisano Children’s Hospital, UHS Wilson Hospital, Crouse Hospital, NY Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Hospital, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, NY Presbyterian Weil Cornell Hospital, and the special care unit at Glens Falls Hospital.

From February 16th to the 20th you can buy books at Northshire Bookstore to donate to Project Cameron's Story,  Northshire Bookstore will also donate a percentage of purchases made to the organization.

The goal of Project Cameron's Story is to support the bonding of parents with their premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), through the use of children's literature and storytelling. We strive to empower parents to form unique and profound connections with their babies within an environment that is often uncertain and intimidating. Our mission is to place a brand new, quality, children's book in the hands of every parent of a premature baby upon admission to the NICU's at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter's Hospital Bellevue Women’s Center, Stony Brook University Hospital, Golisano Children’s Hospital, UHS Wilson Hospital, Crouse Hospital, NY Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Hospital, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, Millard a rollicking adventure story about growing up and the things we share that make us human.

Fillmore Suburban Hospital, NY Presbyterian Weil Cornell Hospital, and the special care unit at Glens Falls Hospital. Project Cameron's Story is committed to providing information regarding the benefits of this type of bonding and continues to seek ways to encourage parents to utilize this as one important way to interact with their new little one.
